Érase una vez que la noche se hizo eterna...

Año 2014, Escocia, para más exactitud Hellage, un pueblecito discreto situado al sur. Hace ya muchos años desde que una maldición causada por los vampiros cayó sobre el pueblo, sumiendo a este dentro de la noche eterna y generando una barrera invisible a los alrededores, lo que imposibilitó la salida del pueblo pero continuó permitiendo la entrada.

Los vampiros se rebelaron descubriendo su naturaleza a los ciudadanos de Hellage y se apoderaron del pueblo a base de terror y violencia. Desde entonces se ha impuesto una dictadura liderada por los conocidos como VII.
